Concept
The scope of the project was to build an internal internet based web application to look after the day to day running of the civil engineering department.
This system neeeded to manage the workflow from a customer request for service to internal customer completion.
The project involved an integration of internal, external and legacy systems. The goal was to achieve automation of all tasks with an overview for management and a comprehensive analysis for staff.
The system also needed to integrate with public and government data sites to ensure that compliance was met and notices automatically ordered therefore ensuring that no financial penalties were levied.
